Introduction

ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಲೇಖನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಲೇಖಕರು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ-ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತದ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಮುಂದಿನ ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಂತೆ, ಪಕ್ಷಿನೋಟವೊಂದನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಗಣಿತೀಯ ಸಂವಹನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯೊಂದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಗಣಿತವನ್ನು ಕಲಿಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಬೋಧನೆಯ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಲಿಕಾ-ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಕೊಂಡಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ಈ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ-ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತವು ಗುರುತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯವು ಗಣಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ-ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತದ ಧ್ವನಿತಾರ್ಥಗಳ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತ ವಿವರಣೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.
